Join us for a special afternoon with Kamil Chima — a Harvard graduate, writer, director and founder of Nehr Ghar Films, and best known for producing Laal Kabootar, Pakistan’s official submission to the 92nd Oscars.

The event features the screening of two of his short films:

  • “The Clown”, winner of the Satyajit Ray Award for Best Short Film at the London Indian Film Festival, is a powerful story of a woman confronting patriarchy.
  • “The Body” unfolds on a winter’s night, bringing together five strangers and one mysterious body.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with Kamil Chima, offering rare insight into his creative journey, storytelling vision and the role of cinema in shaping social thought.

This session takes place in collaboration with Pakistan Film Society of Islamabad.
