» Since 1947, India and Pakistan have remained trapped in a cycle of mistrust, territorial contestation, and recurring military tensions — a pattern once again brought to the fore by the recent Pahalgam incident. This session seeks to unpack the deeper strategic, ideological, and systemic roots of this fraught relationship through the lens of key theories in International Relations: Realism, Liberalism, Constructivism, and Post-Colonialism. What do these frameworks reveal about the persistence of conflict? And how might they help us imagine pathways beyond the impasse?

This session is free and open to all. Just visit the venue to attend it.
