Don’t Wait for a Breakdown: Let’s Talk Preventive Mental Health
Mental health is often addressed only when a crisis strikes—but what if we could intervene before reaching the breaking point? This session invites students, professionals, and concerned citizens to explore the importance of preventive mental health—an approach that focuses on building emotional resilience, fostering healthy coping mechanisms, and recognizing early warning signs before things spiral out of control.
We’ll discuss why mental wellbeing should be part of everyday conversations, how institutions and communities can create supportive environments, and what practical steps individuals can take to safeguard their mental health.
This session is organized in collaboration with the Youth Health Committee of Pakistan Health Parliament.
