A Thousand Years Before Darwin discusses the contributions of Muslim scholars during the Islamic Golden Age to the study of anatomy, biology and evolutionary thought.

In an age when history often celebrates singular figures, this book reminds us that the pursuit of knowledge has always been a global and interconnected endeavour. It invites us to celebrate both Darwin’s legacy and the centuries of inquiry that preceded him – revealing a richer, more inclusive story of science.
