Screen Locked
Screen Locked is a gripping psychological drama that confronts one of the most urgent yet overlooked crises of our time: digital addiction. The film follows an intense psychoanalytic session between a withdrawn teenage boy and an unconventional psychologist, as layers of denial, dependence and emotional isolation are slowly peeled away.
Through probing dialogue and subtle psychological tension, the film explores how screens reshape identity, self-worth and human connection, where validation is chased through likes, followers and online applause, and silence becomes unbearable.
Following the screening, we will open the floor for a guided discussion and Q&A, inviting participants to reflect on digital dependency, mental health, parenting and the psychological cost of living constantly online. A timely conversation on technology, vulnerability and the fragile inner worlds behind our screens.
