Autism and Humanity: From Symbolism to Action
World Autism Awareness Day 2026, under the theme “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value,” invites us to reflect on the dignity, rights and equal worth of every individual on the autism spectrum. Beyond awareness, it calls for a deeper commitment to understanding, acceptance, and meaningful inclusion.
This session brings together experts and practitioners to explore the realities of autism in our society -addressing common misconceptions, challenges in education and daily life, and the importance of supportive environments at home, in schools, and in the workplace.
Through informed discussion and shared perspectives, the session aims to move the conversation forward- from awareness to acceptance, and from inclusion to empowerment – while reaffirming a simple but powerful truth: every life has value, and every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive.
