The Cosmic Blueprint: How Ancient Astronomy Paved the Way for Modern Science
Long before telescopes and satellites, humans looked to the night sky not just in wonder, but for survival. What started as a practical tool for ancient Babylonians and Egyptians to track time, map calendars, and predict seasons ultimately sparked a revolution in human thought.
In this talk, we will journey through time to discover how our fascination with the stars forced us to think deeply, questioning our place in the universe. We’ll explore how the riddles of the cosmos didn’t just teach us about space – they laid the foundation for civilization itself, paving the way for mathematics, physics, optics and global navigation. Join us to discover how the ancient sky drafted the blueprint for the modern world.
