Meekal Jamil is a student of science, and currently pursuing a master’s degree in energy systems engineering. In this session, he has conducted an interactive talk on the ways humans have explained the world around them, from mythical to rational and eventually scientific thought. His discussion revolved around the ideas presented in Carl Sagan’s The Demon Haunted World, which illustrates how modern scientific method developed from simple, fundamental ideas.
