The Culture of Punjab – the Indian Side
Ranjit Powar is a psychologist and author based in Chandigarh, India. Ranjit started her career as a lecturer at the Punjabi University Patiala but later switched careers to join the Punjab Civil Services. She opted for early retirement to follow her passion for voluntary work in education, writing, counselling and other creative pursuits. She is an author and writes for national dailies. Also, she runs a non profit organization Nishan for training teachers and mental health counselling. She is deeply involved with issues of public interest.
In this session, she will reflect upon the culture of Punjab at the Indian side.
