From SNC to NCP: Playing with the School Curriculum

Single National Curriculum (SNC) as the school curriculum was the brainchild of the PTI govt, and National Curriculum of Pakistan (NCP) is being presented as the PDM’s version of it. Are they much different? Does any one of them promise to lift our school education to the current international standards? What major flaws and potential promises can one find in them?
