The Simplest Impossible Problem in Mathematics
This talk will delve into the most elusive problem in mathematics, one that has stumped the brightest minds of the 20th and 21st centuries. The Collatz Conjecture is a deceptively simple problem that even primary school students can grasp, yet no one has been able to solve it.
In this session of Science Club, we will explore the history of this problem, the progress made by mathematicians so far, and the challenges they face. We will see how close we can come to taming this mathematical beast.
