How to Discover Asteroids? A Hands-on Workshop
In this session, the participants will be introduced to the concept of citizen science programs, and how they can contribute to the realm of scientific discoveries. Using the software Astrometrica, the participants will experience what it is like to work on datasets obtained directly from telescopes and make original asteroid discoveries. At the end, the participants will have the opportunity to join the 2nd All Pakistan Asteroid Search Campaign (APASC).
Requirements: To fully engage in the workshop, participants are encouraged to download the Astrometrica software in advance. You can find the download link here:
