In Pakistan, there are approximately 24 million active smokers. Alarmingly, a significant number of patients with cardiovascular and respiratory diseases are also active smokers. As a result, Pakistan ranks among the top 15 countries facing severe tobacco-related deaths and diseases. Current smoking control initiatives appear insufficient, highlighting the urgent need for more effective strategies. In this talk, the speaker will introduce a novel approach to controlling smoking prevalence and test its effectiveness.
