Why Projects Fail in Pakistan – Challenges, Causes and Solutions
Let’s learn about the issues and challenges that plague project planning, design, execution, and completion in the country. Moreover, we’ll also examine the dynamics of Public Private Partnership projects and their impact on the project landscape. Shocking statistics from the World Bank reveal that around 700 billion rupees are wasted in project cost overruns, and nearly 500 billion rupees are lost to procurement-related corruption in Pakistan. Additionally, reports from OECD and UNDP highlight a staggering 1.4 trillion USD in global project management corruption.
This session aims to help you understand the complexities and hurdles in successful project management and how we can strive for better practices and outcomes.
