What is the value of a human life in an era of unprecedented technological advancements and destructive potential? Over 100 million lives were lost to wars and violence in the 20th century, and with the proliferation of nuclear weapons, the future seems increasingly uncertain. Has the value of human life truly diminished, or can science offer insights to help us navigate this critical question?

Join us for an eye-opening talk that delves into this vital topic through the lens of hard physical sciences, astronomy, and economics. Together, we will explore the evidence and uncover what science has to say about the worth of life in a rapidly changing world.
