About the Speaker:

Prof. Aamir Shahzad is a distinguished Professor of Medicine with a remarkable career spanning nearly four decades. He is currently serving as the Director Academics Clinical at the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), Rawalpindi.

After completing his MBBS in 1985, Prof. Shahzad began his medical journey with a house job at General Hospital Lahore and achieved his Fellowship in Medicine (FCPS) in 1992. Over the years, he has held pivotal roles as Senior Registrar at Lahore General Hospital, Services Hospital, and Jinnah Hospital, Lahore, before continuing his dedicated service at Fauji Foundation, Rawalpindi.

A seasoned educator, Prof. Shahzad has contributed to medical education, serving as both examiner and supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Medicine. His experience, combined with his passion for teaching, has made him a respected figure in the medical community.

Beyond his professional commitments, Prof. Shahzad nurtures a deep interest in literature and photography, reflecting a well-rounded personality that values creativity alongside scientific excellence.
