About the Speaker:
Dr. Hassan Abbas is a Distinguished Professor of International Relations at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. Previously, he served as the Quaid-i-Azam Chair Professor at Columbia University in New York. A renowned author and scholar, Dr. Abbas has written several acclaimed books, including “The Return of the Taliban: Afghanistan After the Americans Left” and “The Prophet’s Heir: The Life of Ali ibn Abi Talib”, both published by Yale University Press. His work reflects a deep commitment to exploring critical issues in geopolitics, security, and history.
