Balochistan, Pakistan’s largest yet most marginalized province, holds stories of resilience, resistance and the struggle for rights. In this session, the guest speaker will discuss the complex realities of the region—its quest for justice, the socio-political challenges and the way forward.

About the Speaker:

Sanaullah Baloch is a Baloch nationalist leader from the Balochistan National Party (Mengal). He is a former member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan from 2018 to 2023, Senate of Pakistan from 2003 to 2009 and National Assembly of Pakistan from 1997 to 1999.

About the Moderator:

Having previously worked at NUST, Dilawar Hussain is presently serving as visiting faculty at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, where he teaches courses on constitutional and parliamentary history of Pakistan. He has worked as a research fellow at the School of Social and Political Science, University of Edinburgh, Scotland. His areas of specialization include parliamentary, political, constitutional and electoral history of Pakistan.
