About the Speaker:

Dr. Akif Zeb Khan is a scientist, researcher, and outspoken advocate for evidence-based thinking. With a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry and currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow and senior researcher at the University of Siegen, Germany, he has 20 years of experience in industry and academia, particularly research in pharmaceuticals, nanomaterials, biomimetics, catalysis, and energy storage, with nearly 80 publications in reputed scientific journals. Beyond research, Dr. Khan is a science communicator, blogger, and podcast host, with around 200 articles written on science, society and challenging pseudoscience in various newspapers and online magazines.
