Student Proposed Experiments for CERN – A Tutoring Session

Several groups of students across Pakistan have proposed experiments that they could perform at the European nuclear accelerator facility CERN. We will discuss how these could be strengthened so that the chance of acceptance by CERN authorities is improved. Groups seeking such interactions are encouraged to send in their proposals to TBH at info@theblackhole.pk

About the Moderator:

  • Dr. Athar Osama is a science policymaker, advisor and researcher with a commitment to promote scientific innovation and education. He is the founder of STEMx and World Science Collaborative Ltd., as well as INNOVentures Global (Pvt) Ltd. A former Member (S&T and ICT) of the Planning Commission of Pakistan, Dr. Osama has played a pivotal role in shaping science and technology policies in the country.

    Beyond policy, he actively leads various entrepreneurial and innovation initiatives, including a climate innovation program for K-Electric. Passionate about experiential STEM learning, he leads science education through STEMx and the Holistic Science Teaching Fellowship. More recently, his work has expanded to exploring the transformative impact of AI in education and healthcare. Dr. Osama’s insights continue to shape the future of science, technology, and innovation in Pakistan and beyond.
