Additionally, we’ll touch on the origin of our solar system and explore the interesting possibility of life beyond Earth.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Hamid Saleem served as Chief Scientist at PINSTECH before joining the National Centre for Physics (NCP) in Islamabad as Director General from 2008 to 2014, where he established several departments. After retiring in 2014, he became a Professor in the Department of Space Science at the Institute of Space Technology (IST). A Fellow of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences since 2012, Dr. Saleem has published 151 research papers in international journals, including 22 as a single author. He is also an accomplished poet and writer with three books to his credit: two poetry collections, Saze Alam Saz and Jungle Main Jamhuriat, and a prose work, Science: Talash-e-Haq.
