Book Launch: “Nafrat ki Daryaft”
The book “Nafrat ki Daryaft” is a powerful and deeply personal account of one man’s confrontation with hate in the digital age. Written by Ashfaq Laghari, a media writer currently contributing for Lok Sujag, the book sheds light on Pakistan’s flawed justice system through the lens of a cybercrime victim.
After falling prey to a malicious online hate campaign and the circulation of scandalous images, Laghari turns his pain into purpose – documenting the emotional, social and legal ordeals faced by those targeted by cyberattacks.
Part memoir, part social critique, “Nafrat ki Daryaft” is a testament to resilience and an urgent call for justice, empathy, and reform in how we understand and respond to digital hate and defamation.
