Book Launch: Selected Poems of Majeed Amjad, Mustafa Zaidi and Noon Meem Rashid
Join us for the launch and discussion of the book “Selected Poems of Majeed Amjad, Mustafa Zaidi and Noon Meem Rashid,” a fresh English adaptation by Nayyer Khan, translator, author, and ardent lover of art and literature. Bringing together his sensibility for poetry and his keen visual imagination, Khan reimagines the voices of three towering modernists of Urdu literature. His translations do more than convey meaning; they recreate mood, texture and imagery, offering English readers an intimate doorway into the philosophical depth and aesthetic richness of these master poets.
To explore the craft, challenges and creative choices behind this work, we are joined by a distinguished panel:
