About the Speaker:

Amjad Nazeer is a social and public policy researcher and human rights defender cum activist. Academically, he holds degrees in Governance & Development Management (UK), Human Rights Policy & Practice (Norway & Sweden) and Social Anthropology (Pakistan). He has produced a number of research reports, op-eds and news articles on various aspects of human rights, minority rights, children rights and education. Formerly, he has been associated with SAP-Pk, Oxfam-Novib & Action Aid-Pakistan. He remains engaged in social research, delivering training, honorary lectures, and seminars in various universities and on civil society platforms. Also, he has translated the book “Ordinary Person’s Guide to the Empire” by Arundhati Roy in to Urdu by title “Sarmayadariyat, Riyasati Jabr aur Muzahimat”.
