In this session, we’ll critically review “An Era of Darkness” by Shashi Tharoor, a searing critique of the British Raj’s impact on the subcontinent followed by an engaging panel discussion, on whether colonialism laid the foundations of modern institutions or drained the region of its wealth, identity, and autonomy.
