Panelists:
- Sana Rasool is Deputy Director at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination where she is facilitating the development of Carbon Market Framework and the Climate Gender Action Plan. She is an Environmental Engineer and a Commonwealth Scholar who has done her MSc from the UK in Climate Change. She strongly advocates building resilience to the climate crisis, especially in case of women and marginalized communities.
- Ms. Zoya Ali Khan is the Knowledge Management Specialist at International Funds for Agricultural Development (IFAD) one of the specialised agency of the United Nations. Ms. Khan has around more than five years of professional work experience focusing on quality assurance, projects and programmes, poverty and inclusion, sustainability, evaluation and issues in the agricultural and rural sector. Ms. Khan was previously working with IFAD as an international consultant on various assignments both with IFAD Head Quarters and with Pakistan office. In this role, an important part of her responsibilities included South-South and Triangular Cooperation, Rural Poor Support Facility work. She also worked on evaluation and quality of different projects with IFAD Deputy Director in the Independent office of Evaluation (IOE) of IFAD. She has a Masters degree in Sociology. She is fluent in English and Urdu, and has some knowledge of Italian.
- Mrs. Sajeela Adnan is a Social Entrepreneur and working with Society for relief and development as a Human Resource Manager, she is also facilitating program and operations department. She is holding 10 years of experience in minority and marginalized communities and youth development. She is also awarded young leadership award in 2017 for community development from USA Embassy Islamabad.
- Jawad Sharif is an award-winning filmmaker and National Geographic Explorer based in Pakistan. Exploring the themes of social change and human rights, his projects focus on reviving the suppressed cultural and indigenous identities of Pakistan. In the past 15 years, Jawad has pushed the boundaries of visual storytelling by documenting stories about the rights of folk musicians, high-altitude porters, climate migrants, and marginalized communities.
