Culture in a Digital Age: Building an Inclusive Future
As technology increasingly shapes how we communicate, learn, create and interact, culture itself is being transformed in profound ways. Digital platforms have opened new spaces for expression, connection and creativity, while also raising important questions about identity, representation, access and inclusion.
On the occasion of World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, this session explores how cultural diversity can be preserved, strengthened and reimagined in an increasingly digital world. How do digital technologies influence languages, traditions and collective memory? Can online spaces initiate dialogue and mutual understanding, or do they deepen polarization and exclusion?
