Join us for the launch of “Ehd-e-Haazir Mein Marxism Ki Maanwiyat”, a book by Rana Azam that reimagines Marxism in the context of today’s world. The book examines the philosophical depth and socio-political implications of Marxist thought against the backdrop of contemporary challenges facing the Muslim world, particularly South Asia.
From dialectical materialism to class struggle, from global capitalism to identity politics, Rana Azam engages both classical theory and modern reinterpretations with clarity and insight. This session will discuss how Marxism continues to provoke critical reflection on justice, inequality and the moral fabric of our societies – inviting readers to ask: can Marxism still illuminate a path forward in our neoliberal, postcolonial age?
