Expedition Indus

Wajahat Malik, the leader of “Expedition Indus”, will relate his experiences and talk about the first ever rafting expedition that traversed the entire length of River Indus in Pakistan, starting from Hamzigond in Baltistan all the way down to the city of Karachi. The program will also showcase a 22 minute video by the title of “Rafting the Indus”.

About the speaker

Wajahat Malik is a popular television presenter, a documentary filmmaker and a tourism expert. He runs a production company by the name of Eyebex Films. Wajahat has been producing, presenting and directing adventure and travel films for local and foreign channels for the past 20 years. He is also the co-founder and Chairman of the Pakistan International Mountain Film Festival (PIMFF), which is one the three mountain film festivals in Asia. Wajahat recently led “Expedition Indus”, the first ever rafting expedition traversing the entire length of River Indus in Pakistan, a challenge that nobody had ever taken up before.
