About the Speaker:
Dr. Uppal is Distinguished Professor of Research at the Catholic University of America, Washington DC, where he has taught for 33 years. He specializes in financial management with a Ph.D. and an MBA from Michigan State University. His published research covers, besides Pakistan’s financial and economic issues, Islamic Finance, development finance, emerging capital markets and risk models. He has been a frequent Visiting Professor to several Universities in Pakistan.
