About the Guest Speaker:
Sohaib Abbasi is a Pakistani-American business executive, computer scientist, and philanthropist. He served as the chairman and CEO of Informatica from 2004 to 2015, transforming the company into a global leader in data integration. Prior to that, Abbasi spent 20 years at Oracle Corporation, where he was a senior vice president, leading Oracle Tools and Oracle Education.
In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Abbasi has served on the boards of prominent tech companies including Red Hat Inc., New Relic, and StreamSets. He has received numerous accolades, including the Chairman of the Year Award from the American Business Awards and recognition as one of the top technology leaders by Bloomberg and Institutional Investor. Forbes also ranked him among the top CEOs to work for in the enterprise software industry.
