About the Panelists:

  • Dr. Jim Robinson, a psychology professor and experienced actor, integrates psychology and improv theater to enhance mental health. As a Fulbright Specialist and psychology professor, he’s conducted workshops globally, helping individuals embrace ambiguity and challenge self-limiting thoughts.
  • Qasim Ovais, a theater and improv pioneer, has vast experience in both professional theater and applied improvisation. With a theatrical background spanning decades, he’s founded multiple improv troupes and advocates for applied improvisation in various industries.
  • Fizza Hasan, founder of Theatre Wallay, combines her passion for theater with social change. She directs plays, manages the company’s projects, and established The Farm at Bani Gala, a cultural and performance space, fostering artistic growth for the community.
