In the searing heat of 1947’s Partition, Saadat Hasan Manto’s pen became a mirror to a fractured subcontinent – reflecting wounds too deep for history books to hold. In this session, Adil Yousaf – writer, teacher, theatre artist, cinephile and lecturer in International Relations – will breathe life into Manto’s unforgettable words through a heartfelt recitation of selected excerpts. His voice will carry the grief, irony and raw humanity that defined an era, inviting us to feel the truths Manto dared to tell.
