One Donation, Three Lives: Voluntary Blood Donation Among Youth
Every day, patients battling thalassemia, cancer, severe injuries, surgical complications and other medical emergencies depend on the generosity of blood donors to survive. Yet despite the constant demand, blood shortages remain a persistent challenge, often placing lives at risk when timely donations are unavailable.
Join us for an awareness session in collaboration with The Blood Heroes, Pakistan’s frontline blood donation and emergency support movement. Through donor recruitment, blood drives, and thalassemia prevention awareness initiatives, The Blood Heroes have been working to strengthen a culture of voluntary blood donation and community support across the country.
This session will explore the importance of voluntary blood donation, and the practical steps needed to build a sustainable and reliable blood donation ecosystem. The discussion will also address common myths and misconceptions surrounding blood donation, and the life-saving impact that a single donor can have.
This session is free and open to all. Just visit the venue to attend it.
