In this session, the speaker – in conversation with Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy – will explore both the power of Artificial Intelligence and its crippling limitations. It will explain how AI works and what are significant advances in the last decade. The vast commercial possibilities of various new technologies will also be explored. Finally, he will present some of the deepest limitations of AI and engage in group introspection on how to deal with these deficiencies. He will also suggest a roadmap for students wishing to pursue AI studies.
About the Speaker:
Rafiq Mohammadi is a data scientist and Chicago-based entrepreneur who cofounded iManage. His various businesses currently employ about 1000 employees in the US and elsewhere.
