What is algebra? Where did it come from? And how it is developed over thousand years to its modern form? The story of our search to answer these questions is the story of algebra. In this story we will see how modern algebra has been developed in pursuit of restorations, proofs and symmetries in mathematics and physics.
About the speaker
Naqeeb ur Rehman is assistant professor of mathematics at AIOU, Islamabad. He did his PhD in mathematics in 2016 from Marburg University in Germany under DAAD research program. His mathematical interests are in algebra, topology, and cellular automata.
