Social and Civil Rights in Pakistan: Challenges and Progress

320 320 people viewed this event.

The journey of social and civil rights in Pakistan has been shaped by both persistent challenges and meaningful progress. From issues of equality, freedom of expression, and minority rights to the role of institutions, law, and civil society, the landscape remains complex and evolving.

This session will explore the key challenges that continue to affect the realization of rights in Pakistan, while also highlighting areas of progress and reform. It will reflect on the role of citizens, activists, and policymakers in shaping a more just and inclusive society, and ask what more is needed to move forward.

An opportunity for critical discussion and reflection, this session invites participants to engage with one of the most important questions of our time: how can social and civil rights be strengthened in Pakistan?
