About the Speaker:
Dr. Saeed Ahmed Rid is an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Pakistan Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. A former Visiting Fellow at the University of Oxford, he completed his PhD in Peace Studies at the University of Bradford, UK, as a Commonwealth Scholar. Dr. Rid also holds dual master’s degrees in Political Science and International Studies from UC Berkeley as a Rotary World Peace Fellow. His research focuses on India-Pakistan relations, governance, and peace in South Asia. He has authored five books and over 25 research articles in esteemed journals and presented his work at numerous conferences.
