About the Speaker:
Dr. Farrukh Shahzad is a Consultant ENT Surgeon and former Head of the ENT Department at Polyclinic Hospital, Islamabad. Beyond his medical career, he is a passionate astronomer and currently serves as the Vice President of PakAstronomers Islamabad.
Fascinated by the cosmos since childhood, Dr. Shahzad built his first telescope nearly 40 years ago and now owns two fully equipped GoTo telescopes—a refractor for wide-field astro-imaging and a Schmidt-Cassegrain reflector for planetary and deep-sky observations. His astrophotography has received national and international recognition, and he is deeply committed to inspiring the next generation of stargazers and space enthusiasts.
