The Communist Manifesto: In Its Time and Ours
The Communist Manifesto remains one of the most influential political documents in history—fueling the struggles of workers, peasants, and oppressed peoples across the world. In it, Marx and Engels laid the theoretical foundation for revolutionary movements, envisioning a post-capitalist society and what it would take to achieve it. While subsequent revolutions, women’s emancipation struggles, civil rights movements, and national liberation efforts have expanded and refined our understanding of Marxism, the Manifesto remains indispensable. It offers not just a scientific critique of social relations, production, wealth, and power—centered on class—but also a timeless call to action. Join us as we revisit this seminal work and explore its relevance in today’s world.
