What do the archives of the National Assembly reveal about Pakistan’s political journey? How have constitutions been crafted, amended, and sometimes sidelined in the country’s turbulent history? In this special session, we sit down with Naim Siddiqi — former librarian and custodian of the parliamentary record — for an insider’s view into the rise and fall of legislative processes in Pakistan. Drawing from decades of first-hand experience within the halls of power, Siddiqi will reflect on how politics, power struggles, and shifting ideologies have shaped (and shaken) the country’s democratic foundations.

This session is free and open to all. Just visit the venue to attend it.
