Towards a Thalassemia-Free Pakistan: Students Leading the Change

399 399 people viewed this event.

Thalassemia is one of Pakistan’s most pressing yet preventable health challenges, claiming countless young lives and placing immense burdens on families. Since 2010, Jehaad for Zero Thalassemia (JZT) – a student-led, registered organization — has been at the forefront of the fight, driven by the vision of a Thalassemia-free Pakistan.

In this session, JZT volunteers come together to share their journey, raise awareness about prevention and treatment, and discuss how community involvement can transform the mission into reality. From mobilizing youth to spreading knowledge about screening and awareness campaigns, these students are proving that change begins with passion, commitment, and collective action.

This session is free and open to all. Just visit the venue to attend it.
