Women, Resistance and Social Transformation

13 13 people viewed this event.

Throughout history, women have been at the forefront of struggles for justice, equality and social change. From challenging discriminatory laws to leading movements for political rights, education and economic empowerment, women’s resistance has played a vital role in shaping more inclusive societies.

This session explores how acts of resistance, both visible and everyday, contribute to broader processes of social transformation. It will reflect on the ways women organize, mobilize and challenge structures of power, while also examining the cultural, political and social contexts that shape these struggles.
