Gender-based violence (GBV) continues to be one of Pakistan’s most pressing human rights challenges, manifesting in the form of domestic violence, honour-based killings, acid attacks, and femicide. While such incidents often spark public outrage and widespread social media discussion, they rarely lead to sustained action or systemic change.
Our session aims to explore the “missing link” behind the persistence of GBV through an inclusive discussion featuring experts from law, media, education, and transgender rights advocacy.
