Many Faiths, One Flag: Celebrating National Minorities Day
Pakistan is home to diverse religious, cultural, and linguistic communities whose histories, contributions, and identities are an integral part of the country’s story. National Minorities Day, observed on 11 August, offers an opportunity to reflect on the principles of equality, dignity, religious freedom, and equal citizenship.
This session brings together voices from Pakistan’s religious minority communities for a conversation about identity, citizenship, rights, belonging, and the shared future of the country. Rather than viewing diversity as a challenge, the discussion will explore how our different faiths and traditions can enrich the social fabric of Pakistan.
Many faiths, one flag – and a shared responsibility to build a country where every citizen can live with dignity, freedom, and equal rights.
